Speaking at the launch of Startup Egypt, Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk invited startups to propose innovative technology solutions that could improve efficiency and productivity across the ministry.
He stressed that the Ministry of Finance aims to act as a genuine partner to entrepreneurs, not merely as a regulatory authority, and highlighted ongoing efforts to make tax and legislative frameworks simpler, clearer, and more predictable.
Kouchouk also praised Startup Egypt for creating a structured space where founders, private-sector leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders can exchange experience and address shared challenges.
“The ministry has major operational needs, and we welcome innovative startups that can help us develop better services while creating real opportunities for their own growth,” he said.
He concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to removing barriers and providing the support needed to empower Egypt’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
