Startup Egypt signed a cooperation protocol with Simplex during the Startup Egypt launch event to introduce the SE Industrial Technology Accelerator, powered by Simplex. The agreement was signed by Dr. Maged Ghoneima, Chairman of Startup Egypt’s Board of Trustees, and Eng. Ahmed Shaaban, Founder and CEO of Simplex.
Founded by Egyptian entrepreneurs, Simplex has grown into one of the region’s leading industrial technology companies and CNC machine manufacturers, with experience in advanced manufacturing, automation, and locally developed industrial solutions.
“Simplex began its journey as an entrepreneurial idea, so giving back by supporting the next generation of industrial founders is deeply important to us,” Shaaban said. “We want to help promising startups turn innovative technologies into practical solutions that can succeed in the market.”
Dr. Ghoneima highlighted the value of placing experienced industry players at the heart of acceleration programs. “Simplex will transfer highly relevant technical, manufacturing, and market expertise to participating startups, helping them avoid common mistakes and build solutions grounded in real industry needs,” he said.
